GLDA Foundation

The GL Dermatology Association Foundation, Inc. (GLDA Foundation) is an all-volunteer non-profit organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, more specifically to create and organize a free speaker's bureau of dermatologists available to provide outreach and education in the community for needy individuals affected by medical and surgical issues affecting gay and lesbians; to charitably assist dermatology patients identified from our outreach and education endeavors who are not able to pay for care; and to fund projects that provide free information and support to needy individuals with gay-related illnesses.

The GLDA Foundation was created as a result of the G L Dermatology Association (GLDA) which is a networking organization whose members are willing and able to volunteer their time and talent to carry out the foundation's goals. GLDA members, and others in the community who support our mission, will be responsible for reaching out to groups and organizations to offer their services for free speaking engagements educating the GLBT community on pertinent subjects and then offering to assist dermatology patients they identify at some of these opportunities who may be in need of free or discounted medical care.
